Taylor Companies, Inc.
Prestigious Washington D.C.-based international Investment Bank specializing in M&A advisory seeks qualified candidates for Internship opportunities. Internships are offered year-round with entry dates in June, September, and January. Interns report to Analysts and Associates in the marketing and transactional departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze company financial positions across a broad range of industries and regions
- Prepare transaction/deal comps
- Perform comparable company analysis
- Financially qualify companies and analyze ability to perform acquisitions and divestitures
- Prepare pitch books/presentation books/client presentations
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare materials for calls to potential clients/existing clients
- Perform industry multiple analysis (multiples for valuation of businesses)
- Periodically perform various financial modeling
REQUIREMENTS
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Business (minimum GPA 3.0)
- Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior only
- Previous relevant work experience preferred but not required
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong desire to learn/grow while showing ability to adapt to a unique system/process
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week
- Must be willing to accept the Internship unpaid ($20 per-day stipend for travel and lunch)
