Competitive Business Intelligence Specialist
Taylor Companies, Inc.
Washington D.C.-based investment bank seeks qualified candidates to fill the Competitive Business Intelligence Specialist position in support of the marketing and M&A advisory departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research companies and industry segments across a wide range of industrial sectors in support of Global 1000 level acquisition and divestiture projects
- Use a combination of primary and secondary source research techniques, with an emphasis on telephonic interviewing and strategic debriefing of subject matter experts
- Compile and analyze research materials to develop comprehensive reports
- Collect and analyze data, write reports, edit, proofread, and create presentations for top-level executives
- Identify and recruit advisors and industry experts
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous business research, market research, business intelligence or equivalent business experience
- Knowledge of investigational research tools (Internet, trade journals, industry experts)
- Three years human intelligence gathering and/or competitive intelligence experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (or other business-related field)
- Travel 10- 25%
